Before taking our products, we recommend that you study the label on the product carefully. If you are unsure, you should talk to your doctor.

Can there be side effects when using your products?

Collagen products are well tolerated and side effects are rare. Some people may experience mild digestive symptoms such as bloating or upset stomach. If you have any concerns or notice any side effects, it is advisable to stop taking it and talk to your doctor.

Are your products safe?

Yes. Collagen products are generally safe when taken as directed. However, it is always advisable to consult your doctor before taking any new supplement, especially if you have certain health problems or are taking medications.

Should I take your products at certain times of the day?

Every person has a different biorhythm and an individual daily routine. More important than the exact time of taking it is the regularity in order to achieve a lasting effect. We therefore recommend that you incorporate our products into your daily routine in such a way that it means as little additional effort as possible for you. The more usage becomes part of your daily routine, the better it is for you - whether morning, lunch or evening. Just find a time that suits you!

How do I take your products?

For daily use, we recommend mixing the collagen powder into your favorite drink. Whether hot or cold, coffee or water, simply stir in two teaspoons (approx. 5g) and you have the perfect preparation. Alternatively, you can stir the collagen into dishes such as soups. The collagen powder is tasteless and easily soluble.

For the collagen capsules, we recommend taking the recommended daily dosage with meals with a large glass of liquid.

How much collagen should I consume?

The exact amount of collagen required to stimulate collagen production in the dermis (the middle layer of the skin) by fibroblasts is not clearly established. Scientific studies use dosages of approximately 5 grams per day. It is important to understand that the body's own collagen production depends on a variety of individual factors such as age, health status and the specific collagen product. In addition, collagen production depends on other factors such as diet, lifestyle and the availability of nutrients.

You can always find the daily consumption recommendation for your collagen product on the back of the product.

Can I also consume too much collagen?

Theoretically yes, but you really need a large amount of collagen for this. With the amount we recommend per product, you get the optimal amount that achieves the best results - as scientifically confirmed. You can find out more about the scientific studies on our studies page.

How do I store your products?

It is best to store our products in a cool, dry place - away from moisture, direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. This allows you to ensure maximum durability and effectiveness of our products.

How long do your products last?

The best-before date is printed on every product. This applies to the unopened product when stored correctly. Once opened, we recommend consuming the product within 90 days.

How long does a pack of collagen last?

Our collagen powder contains 30 servings. If taken daily, this corresponds to approximately a month's supply.

Our collagen capsules are also designed for daily use. If taken daily, they last about a month.

What exactly is collagen and what is it good for?

Collagen is a vital endogenous protein that makes up most of the body's structure. It is one of the building blocks of skin, bones, tendons, ligaments, muscles, hair, nails and cartilage. Collagen plays an important role in beautiful skin tone and radiant complexion, smoothing wrinkles, building lean muscles, bone and joint health, and even digestive function.

Does the body produce collagen itself or do I have to get it externally?

Yes, the body produces its own collagen. Collagen synthesis is a natural process that occurs in the body. Specialized cells called fibroblasts are responsible for producing collagen. These cells are found in various connective tissues of the body, such as skin, bones, tendons and ligaments. However, as we age, the natural production of collagen decreases, leading to a gradual loss of collagen and possible changes in the appearance of the skin, joint health, and overall tissue integrity. The skin loses its volume and elasticity, the hair becomes thinner and the nails become more brittle. External factors such as sun exposure, smoking and poor nutrition can also negatively affect the body's collagen production.

By regularly consuming collagen in the form of a dietary supplement, you can replenish your body's collagen levels, improving skin elasticity, promoting joint health, and strengthening hair and nails.

Please note that it is always advisable to consult your doctor if you want to take dietary supplements.

How does the body's collagen production develop as we age?

Although the body always produces collagen itself, production decreases steadily with age. As a result, the skin loses its elasticity and forms wrinkles. On average, from the age of 25 onwards, the amount of collagen in the skin decreases by almost 2% per year. By the age of 60, most people have approximately 80% less collagen in their skin than they did at age 25. The visible effects are brittle hair and nails as well as thinner and sagging skin.

What types of collagen are there?

There are a number of types of collagen found in the human body. The most common types are:

Type I: This is the most common type of collagen in the body and is found in the skin, bones, tendons, ligaments and organs. It provides structural support and strength to these tissues.

Type II: This type is present primarily in the cartilage, which cushions the joints and supports flexibility and mobility.

Type III: Type III collagen is often found alongside type I collagen, primarily in tissues such as skin, blood vessels, and organs. It provides structural support and plays a role in tissue repair.

Type IV: This type forms an important part of the basement membrane, a thin, specialized layer that supports and separates different layers of tissue.

Type V: Type V collagen is found in smaller amounts in various tissues, such as skin, hair and placenta. It helps regulate the formation of collagen fibrils.

Type X collagen: This type is found primarily in the growth plates of bones and plays a role in bone development and mineralization.

Because each collagen type supports different physical functions, we have fine-tuned our products and added specific collagen types to achieve the desired and best result for you.

How do your products work?

Collagen products are usually obtained from animal sources such as cattle or fish. Our vegetarian collagen is derived from eggshell membrane. Our vegan collagen replicates the amino acid profile of "regular" collagen. When ingested, collagen peptides are broken down into amino acids, which are absorbed by the body and used to support collagen production in skin, joints and other tissues.

How often should I take your product to get the best effect?

You can always find the daily consumption recommendation for your collagen product on the back of the product. We recommend that you stick to this consumption recommendation in order to achieve the optimal effect. As we age, the body's own collagen production decreases. In addition, there are external factors and lifestyle that have a negative impact on the body's collagen balance, such as smoking, too much sun and diet. Continuity, i.e. daily intake over a longer period of time, is crucial for maximum effect. Combined with a balanced diet and enough sleep, you will achieve optimal results.

When will I start seeing results?

Every body is individual and factors such as age, lifestyle and skin care also play a role. Basically, if you use it daily, you can expect the first results after about 8-12 weeks. By the way, many scientific studies have confirmed this (more on that here ).

Is the effect of collagen supplements scientifically proven?

There is extensive scientific research on collagen supplements, and new studies are added regularly. We have summarized all current studies for you on our studies page.

Does collagen help dry skin?

Yes. Collagen is a protein that plays a crucial role in maintaining the health and structure of our skin. It is responsible for the elasticity, hydration and overall firmness of the skin. The collagen peptides stimulate the skin's fibroblasts to produce hyaluronic acid, which binds moisture in the skin. As a result, the skin becomes smoother and less dry.

How does collagen affect nails and hair?

Nails and hair are made of the protein keratin, and collagen forms the structural basis for the production of keratin. Collagen gives nails strength and resilience and prevents them from becoming brittle or weak. Collagen also contributes to the structural support of hair follicles, which are responsible for hair growth. Strong and healthy hair follicles contribute to the growth of thick and resilient hair.

Production & Ingredients

How is collagen produced?

Our animal collagen products are produced through specific and controlled enzymatic hydrolysis.

Our vegetarian collagen is obtained from eggshell membrane using a patented process by the manufacturer.

Our vegan collagen is based on a combination of amino acids similar to collagen, which is manufactured in the producer's own process.

What does it mean that collagen is hydrolyzed?

During hydrolysis, collagen is broken down into tiny so-called “collagen peptides”. These can be more easily absorbed by the body. This means that our products achieve a high so-called “bioavailability”. Bioavailability refers to the amount of an active ingredient that enters the circulation after ingestion and is therefore available to the body. In addition, the process of hydrolysis makes the collagen tasteless and odorless.

What ingredients are in your products?

Our animal collagen is obtained exclusively from natural raw materials of animal origin. These are first examined by a veterinarian and released for human consumption. The actual raw material for the production of collagen peptides is native collagen protein, which occurs in large quantities in skins and bones.

Our vegetarian collagen is derived from eggshell membrane.

Our vegan collagen is 100% plant-based.

Where are your products made?

Our animal collagen is produced and processed in Germany.

Our vegetarian collagen is produced and processed in Spain.

Our vegan collagen is manufactured and processed in the UK.

The highest safety and quality regulations apply to all products in production and processing. The products are independently laboratory tested and made exclusively from first-class ingredients.

We want to offer the best products to get the best results for you. This is only possible with the best ingredients and manufacturing processes.

What is the amino acid profile of your products?

You can find the amino acid profile (aminogram) of our products on the respective product page under “All information in detail”.

Are your products suitable for vegetarians or vegans?

Our vegetarian collagen is made from eggshell membrane and is therefore suitable for vegetarians.

For vegans we recommend our vegan collagen.

All of our other collagen products are made from animal sources. This also applies to our multi-collagen product.

Are your products suitable for pregnant women or nursing mothers?

We recommend that you consult your doctor before taking any supplements, including collagen.

Why should I buy your products and not the competition?

Quite simply: We believe in offering the best collagen products to achieve optimal results for you.

Specifically this means:

  • Uncompromising quality: Patented peptides
  • Complete transparency: Only the pure product - natural, pure, high dosage - without any additives
  • Real effectiveness: The effect of the patented peptides has been scientifically examined and proven several times

What sets your collagen products apart from other manufacturers?

We stand for transparency, quality and effectiveness in nutritional supplements.

We stand for uncompromising quality: Patented collagen peptides - natural, pure, high doses, without additives. Complete transparency: Only the pure product.

We stand for real effectiveness. Scientific studies have repeatedly examined and proven the effectiveness of the peptides.

How are collagen peptides absorbed by the body?

The peptides are absorbed into the bloodstream through the intestines. Just like nutrients from food, the peptides enter the bloodstream to supply skin, hair and nails with collagen.

Why don't you use additives?

We firmly believe that the body can best process and utilize supplements like collagen when it is presented as naturally as possible and with as little added as possible. Any additive disrupts this natural physical process. That's why we rely on pure collagen to achieve the maximum effect for you.

Basically, there is a very simple rule when it comes to ingredients: the fewer ingredients, the better. The fewer ingredients, the less processed the product is. And the less processed it is, the healthier it is for you.

Why do you only offer tasteless collagen?

Taste means nothing other than the addition of flavors and additives, specifically in the form of sweeteners. Whether sugar or artificial sweeteners - they are simply not healthy. And that's why we consciously avoid adding flavor.

Our products are actually tasteless - we achieve this through so-called “enzymatic cleavage” for true taste neutrality.

Are your products independently tested?

Our products are regularly tested during production by an independent laboratory.

What are “patented peptides”?

We aim to offer you the best collagen product. That's why we only use so-called "patented peptides" for our products. These peptides have been patented - i.e. legally protected - by the respective manufacturer because they have a special production and/or a special effectiveness. There are many scientific studies on this on our studies page.
